Today, I am 27 years old and I could say that I have received tremendous amount of blessings in the past twenty six years of my life. I had the time to reflect and think of all the people and things that God has blessed me with as well as the plans I have for the future. I was able to make a list of twenty seven random things about myself on my other blog and number five on the list is about my dream of having my own restaurant someday. I was eleven years old when I discovered my ability to cook. I made a popcorn cake for my friends and even if it was my first time to cook, I received positive comments from them and those comments got me motivated from then on. I feel that I’ll never lose my zeal for cooking.
Even if I am taking up Nursing, I would still want to pursue my dream of having my own restaurant. I often think of putting up a restaurant that would show my personality. I would want the restaurant theme to be as unique as possible. Great food and ambience are my first priority. I want to have fashionable restaurant furniture which will perfectly suit my taste. Restaurant chairs, bar stools, tables should match and complement one another. I feel that hanging a light fixture over every table would be a lovely idea. I am truly hoping that these plans will push through with the help of the Lord and the people who are close to my heart. Here are some fashionable restaurant furniture I have seen at Fashion Seating.
Chocolate fondue is a simple and amazing dessert. It's easy and fun to make and it's definitely a party favorite. I enjoy dipping fresh fruits and other dippables like marshmallows, pretzels, bread, wafer sticks, lady fingers, brownies, pound cake and more into the hot, melted creamy chocolate mixture. It's sinfully delicious!
* For safe food hygiene, use a fridge thermometer and keep your refrigerator at a temperature of between 1°C and 5°C.
* The most important thing to remember is to keep raw and cooked foods, particularly meats, separate from each other.
* Store raw meat, covered, in the bottom of the refrigerator to prevent raw meat juices dripping onto other foods.
* Cover all food that is stored in the refrigerator to prevent it drying out and to prevent strong flavoured foods from tainting others.
*Make sure any hot food had cooled to room temperature before covering and putting in the refrigerator.
Freezer Facts
* Before buying frozen foods double check the star rating of your freezer - this will give you a guide as to how long you can store foods: * up to 1 week, ** up to 1 month, *** up to 3 months.
* There are a few useful items that are worth keeping in the freezer if you have space: frozen vegetables and potato products, bread, packets of filo and shortcrust pastry, ice cream and herbs.
* Make sure that any hot food is cooled to at least room temperature before freezing.
* Make sure you identify all foods by labelling and dating them - it is very easy to forget what you have in the freezer!
* The safest way to thaw frozen food is in the refrigerator overnight. However, check the packaging of ready-prepared foods, as many of them are cooked from frozen.
My blogging journey started in 2006 and I am presently maintaining three sites. Blogging has been an exciting journey for me. It has been a means for me to express my thoughts, an opportunity to get them out of my system and an easy way to keep friends up- to- date with what’s happening with my life. I became very active in the blogging world since March 2008. Little by little, I learned how to customize my own site. I was able to post interesting surveys about myself, personality quiz results, pictures, birthday greetings, videos and a lot more. The best part I think was when I learned about online money making. My friend Jennie, who is also my blogging mentor, taught me a lot of important things and she really contributed a lot to my progress.
I know that I still have a lot to learn to be able to maximize my blogging career. I am planning to make another blog where I can write about my experiences as a Nursing student, my realizations in taking up this course and the challenges I’ll be facing soon. I want to try using a WordPress account because I know that signing up would be very easy and there is a helpful website which offers the best wordpress themes, plugins and tools. The site has startling, free wordpress themes available for download. There are also plenty of blog tips and tutorials which are readily available and would certainly be of great help to a newbie and a long time blogger. I hope that I’ll have the time to start making another blog very soon.
